Our terms and conditions for all mindfulness, decluttering and therapy services are provided below.
Mindfulness Terms and Conditions

A full medical consultation must be completed prior to any mindfulness training.

For one to one sessions full payment is due at end of session.

For workshops payment is due one week before. No refund will be given for cancellations.

We reserve the right not to enrol you on Mindfulness if there are any contraindications.

For courses, full payment is due one week before course commences. No refund will be given for any missed sessions.

Should AFM LifeStyles, due to unforeseen circumstances, have to cancel any workshops or sessions, a full refund will be given, or an alternative date organised if suitable.

All information given on consultation form is strictly confidential.

All personal information is kept safe and secure by AFM LifeStyles and is not shared to any third party.

It is your responsibility to keep your trainer informed of any changes to your health or medication.
Decluttering Terms and Conditions

Confidentiality: No client information, or personal details discussed during your session will ever be passed on to a third party. Being a member of the APDO (Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers) I adhere to a strict code of practice. I am registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and I hold a Disclosure Scotland PVG certificate

I am willing to help you with light cleaning duties during the session

I do not lift or move furniture or heavy objects

48 hours notice is required for cancellations, failing this the full chargeable amount will be invoiced.

If I should have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances – no charge will be made.

The cost is £35 per hour (minimum of 3 hours per visit). Sometimes it is difficult to estimate how long a task will take, any additional time will be charged per half hour. Should you book a whole day, I will take a half hour lunch break and I will bring my own refreshments with me.

The session will start at a pre agreed time

For visits more than 10 miles from Hamilton an additional travel cost will be incurred, this will be discussed at time of booking.

If there are parking charges incurred while visiting your home, these charges will be added to the final costing of the service.

Payment will be due in full at the end of the session, when you will receive an invoice. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

I may ask to take before and after photographs for my website – this will only be if you give your full consent, there is no obligation at all.

I have public liability and professional indemnity insurance. However I cannot be held responsible for any breakages of items during the decluttering process.

Advice whether to keep or discard items is given in good faith, and the final decision does lie with you. I do not accept responsibility of the consequences of your decisions in this matter.

I am not qualified to value items

It is your responsibility to dispose of items, although I am happy, within reason, to take items to charity shops.
Therapies Terms and Conditions

A full medical consultation must be completed prior to your first treatment. This is to ascertain if there are any contraindications for the proposed treatment.

Full Payment is due at the end of the treatment.

24 hours notice is required for any appointments cancelled, otherwise full payment of treatment booked will be due.

There will be no charge if AFM LifeStyles has to cancel your treatment.

We reserve the right not to treat you if there are any contraindications and no charge will be made.
